One of the ways to make your regular table a little more colorful is to add one more side dish, but it’s not easy.
It is because parents (including myself) are very busy every day with cleaning, laundry, and taking care of the kids…But at the same time, I want to make our family dinner table better…
In such cases, I often make “Sunomono” Japanese cucumber salad.
It is quick to make, rich in nutrition, and it is perfect for the hot summer days.
The photo above is a sunomono I made at home. I usually put it in a small bowl, but I tried it out on a deep dish with a big rim, and it turned out gorgeous.
