Washoku (Japanese food) was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013. The reason why Japanese typical meal set is said to be healthy is because of the well-balanced combination of various menu items. It is a good source of nutrients that the human body needs.

However, even Japanese people do not carefully prepare so many dishes every day in their busy weekday. Don’t worry, there are many people who simply eat bread, cereal, miso soup or rice balls. (Including me!).

If you are interested in Japanese food, why don’t you try Japanese food on weekends or other lunch time when you have time?

Or, if you have a chance to stay at a Japanese Ryokan(Inn) or hotel, you can taste Japanese style breakfast there. Bread and yogurt as usual is fine, but if you are not sure, try Japanese breakfast.

Now, let’s take a look at some tableware that will beautifully serve your Japanese lunch.
